Winter Campaigns
Food Drives
In winter we deliver food to those in need through soup kitchens and Jars of Hope.
Throughout the year, keep your eyes open for special offers when you shop. For food donations, think of non-perishable goods like soup mix, pasta, rice.

Clothing Drives
In 2023, it was estimated that 13.8 million South Africans live below the food poverty line. If affording food's a challenge, imagine having to decide between being fed and being clothed.
​Our winters can be harsh. Consider donating your pre-loved, or unused, clothes to aid those in need.
Year End Campaigns
Food Jars & Hampers
The Jars of Hope initiative has fed over 500 families since it started 3 years ago. Each Jar contains ingredients for a meal serving up to 5 people.

In the same spirit, our Christmas Food Hampers drive aims to deliver as many grocery hampers to families in need.

Toy Drives
Toy drives support children's homes reliant on donations and Christmas campaigns.

While it may see like a non-essential, toys and play are a necessary part of childhood development.
​
It's also a simple way to spread joy during the festive season.

Jars of Love
Like our toy drives, Jars of Love are meant to spread light and joy during the year.
​
We fill them with cookies or sweet treats.
​
We've distributed Jars of Love for Mother's Day and Women's Day.

Blessing Bags
Blessing bags are packs of personal items like include face clothes, soap, deodorant or similar items that may be needed by people living on the streets, shelters and safe havens.

Sanitary Products
Period poverty remains a global issue. Millions of women and girls still struggle with access to these causing them to miss school or work.​​
​
​We also partner with other NPOs on a mission to address period poverty and close the gap on this basic need.

Afraid of change? We'll take it off your hands. ​Jokes aside, if you have spare change grab a FWC money tin and drop it in there.
Keep one in your house or car, and get the family involved.
Once full, get it back to us and we'll use it to fund one of our campaigns.
